Description: Color postcard with image by artist R. Veenfliet, painting only copyrighted by S. Garre, 1909, with a 1909 Mancelona, Mich. postmark. The stamp has been removed. "BEST WISHES FOR A HAPPY THANKSGIVING" Featuring a wonderful vintage image of a pair of turkeys in a field, surrounded by a scene of colorful autumn leaves, red corn, and pumpkins. The card is lightly embossed. A message is handwritten on the front back of the card. This postcard is from a collection saved by a family relation, Nina, was born 1890, and died 1953. She lived in Traverse City, Michigan. Nina saved a large collection of postcards, many from Traverse City and nearby areas. I will be listing more of these postcards as time allows.Condition: Vintage postcard, with stamp removed, with handwriting on back of the postcard. Image has vibrant colors. Please see photos.
