Description: ORIGINAL, First Edition, Not a reprint or reproduction. Sold to me directly from the artist, R. Anton Rocz, whom I met when he showed some of his work at the Hungarian Festival in 1990. He had just returned from one of his trips to Hungary and had taken some gorgeous photographs there. This one struck me as it tells a story of the people who work in the hatter shop, as well as showing the tools used to make the hats. I love the hatter's umbrella hanging from a water pipe! He sold it to me and it has been stored away, and is in excellent condition. Full color photograph, matted and under a removable plastic wrap. Hand written by Anton in pencil on the mat, title is Hat Shop, Sopron, Hungary. On the right side he signed it R.A Racz and the date, 1990. The matte measures 18" by 14". The photo is 9 3/4" by 6 1/2". A scarce find and a great subject. A great gift for the hatter, milliner or hat collector. SHIPPING...... We ship from the West Coast.
