Description: Commemorative clear glass plate marking the50 year reign- golden jubilee of Queen Victoria1837-1887 Approx. 9 3/4" across - Not completely flat- it is about 1 1/2" deep Lettering on the back has raised dotting giving a stippled kind of look Front interior is smoothScalloped outer rim which feels to be good- no chipping Overall nice clean conditionShows minimal use/age with minor scratch marks in center of plate Roughness on back around the thin horizontal bands wrapped around the plate under the scalloped edge-Really can not tell if these are nicks or was made this way- would say minor either way Can be seen in photo of top of plate Some in the making imperfections: Bubbles, lines, little waviness But mostly a nice clean undamaged for a 19th century glass plate
