Description: QUALITY MADE Mid Century 60s Cracked ICE Pattern UFO Swag Pendant HANGING LIGHT Here is a higher quality older piece, the metal parts are a brass plated steel and not the usual pot metal type castings, I'm thinking 1960s or early 70s. The swag chain also has heavier gauge brass plated links which is more typical of the earlier pieces and is about 10-11 feet in overall length, complete with a vintage unpolarized plug and inline rotary switch. Kind of a UFO or doughnut pancake shaped heavy glass globe that has a beautiful embossed overall cracked ice textured pattern, stunning when lit up !!!. Glass globe measures about 11 inches or so in diameter around the middle, overall length with top and bottom metal fitters is about 15 or so inches. Also complete with the hard to find gold colored perforated metal diffuser tube, it simply clips onto the bulb you select to use with a spring loaded strap. Note: The low wattage LED bulb I used during testing will not be included. Excellent overall condition and in complete working order, no damage at all to glass globe, all pressed metal fixture pieces are in nice shape with no damage, little to no rusting, cord and wiring are fine and I have had no hesitation in testing it out, everything is fine - no excuses on this one !!! Obviously, these lamps are not antiques, however, they are still desirable today as decorator/designer pieces and are highly sought after by the many people that follow the trends of the 60’s and 70’s.
