This tooth comes from Java, Indonesia and is likely to be 2.6-1.8 million years old Not a common fossil to pick up in local fossil shops as the numbers currently available are very low compaired to teeth from other species like the wooly mammoth. exotic fossil could be added to your collection. it maybe from the species semedoensis only just discovered in central Java in 2014! there other species from other locations in indonesia there is a chance that if this is not semedoensis it maybe a new discovery for the area.
