Rust in battery area Original case Shows age,wear and use Some great info provided by a helpful , knowledgable Ebayer ( thank you) : The radio is only AM (designated by M for medium wave) and long wave (designated by L). So no FM band. It was for sale in Europe, where long wave was popular. In North America it was only used for utilities like navigation buoy signals. One interesting point is it was one of the first asian made radios sold by this British company, because their British made radios could not compete with the lower priced imports any more.
