To give you some idea of the good value of the product you are getting Each 5 Metre Length is measured with the mesh lying flat & fully relaxed at 42mm wide. You are getting lots of mesh for your money and buying at a very low price. The mesh can be used with maggots as the stitch structure is small enough to hold most in as it takes a while for them to start pushing there way out. Ground Bait can also be used if mixed with an Oil Based Attractor .In the picture you will see 3 balls loaded with boilies and small pellets some as little as 1 ½ mm diameter in size. This product has been used & carefully tested by many experienced anglers who are really satisfied with the results. The mesh is very versatile, and you can very quickly tie a golf ball sized ball or a cricket sized ball or larger depending on the weight your rod will take when casting.It is supplied on a 60mm Diameter Blue translucent tube (the tube is also made in the U.K) to allow quick & easy loading of the bait. A UNIQUE elasticated band has been knitted into the mesh right at the very top. This elasticated band (as shown in the picture) is a Unique idea and enables mesh to be used on different sized tubes from 60 mm – 80 mm. The Elasticated knitted band will stop the mesh sliding up the tubes and keeps everything very tidy and well finished. The mesh balls can be tied hard for accurate casting.They will sink quickly and explode in around 8-20 seconds in the warmer months depending on the water and water temperature.We have always had time to set the rods and get straight into the fish.In the winter months they have been fished on ponds with ice around the banks and can take up to 60 seconds to explode. MADE IN ENGLANDQUALITY PVA MESH TO MAKE LARGE OR SMALL BALLS How you use the mesh is up to you and your skill as an angler but we find to make the balls quickly & easily and to get the most balls out of the mesh per metre we tie them as explained below:- HOLD MESH AND TUBE FIRMLY IN ONE HAND FILL THE TUBE FROM THE ELASTICATED TOP END TO LEVEL REQUIRED LET THE BAIT AND MESH COME DOWN CONTROLING IT WITH YOUR HAND AND A NICE BALL WILL FORM NOW COMPRESS THE BAIT WITH YOUR HAND ( by resting the bottom of the ball on your leg and pushing down on the top of the ball with your hand works well you do not need a plunger)& TWIST THE MESH A LITTLE ONCE TWISTED , THE BAIT WILL NOT NOW FALL BACK DOWN THE TUBE AND YOU CAN NOW TURN EVERYTHING UP SIDE DOWN HOLDING THE TUBE AND MESH BETWEEN YOUR LEGS (this leaves both hands free and locks the mesh on tube) NOW FIRM THE BALL MORE BY TWISTING MESH & ONCE TIGHT ENOUGH USE PVA TAPE TO TIE OFF THE BALL(very easily done.The largest ball in the picture I have left a long tie off so that you can see how the pva tape has been tied to get a tight ball.I have cut off a strip of tape trapped one end of the tape between thumb and ball then wrapped the other end around the mesh working back towards the ball until tight enough before knotting ) OR TIE A KNOT INTO THE MESH THE BALL IS NOW MADE AND CAN BE CUT OFF THE CUT OFF MESH LEFT ON THE TUBE WILL NEVER LADDER BACK AND BECAUSE IT HAS ALREADY BEEN TWISTED WHEN FORMING THE BALL IT CAN NOW BE TIED IN A KNOT VERY EASILY (saving mesh & time)READY FOR THE NEXT BALL TO BE MADE If you decide to buy my British Made product thank you very much & you will be more than welcome to buy again when you need more mesh.
