He’s a man big on our core values of trust and loyalty.” The brand’s talisman, an elephant, was chosen because it “symbolizes strength, longevity and a trunk up for good luck,” Tatum adds. A taste of the world for the streetwear enthusiast can be found in Publik Trust’s upcoming collections. The current Spring 2014 line is an ode to the vibrant colors of Mumbai, India. Summer sees inspiration derived from the beaches of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, while Fall introduces the line’s first full top and bottom collection with twill pants, jackets, sweaters, woven and accessories built around an African safari theme. “The future for Publik Trust is very bright,” says Tatum. “In 2015 we will introduce Publik Trust kids, women's, watches and footwear. We will continue to be a leader in fashion and at the same time spread trust, honor and wisdom.”
