Description: This is an original 1893 hardcover printing of "Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs for Church Sunday School," published by Showalter, Holsinger & Perry Bros and containing over 200 hymns. Overall, this book is in fair condition. As you'll see in my first four photos, the covers have extensive wear, including heavy rubbing (with some fraying) along all of the edges and rounding & layering in the outer corners. Stains, scratches, scrapes, and tearing & chipping of the surface layer are also found on the covers. Inside, the pages remain well-bound, crisp, and largely clean, although several pages do have stains and/or smudges, and a lot of writing occurs inside the front & back covers and on the pages adjacent to the covers (shown in my 5th & 6th photos and in my final two photos). Several pages also have dog-ear creases in their upper outer corners.
