Q: How do you accomplish these repairs?A: With use of our industry leading disc repair machine, the Eco Master created by Elm USA. The unit has an established track record with bringing discs back to their original factory condition. Q: What gaming platform discs can you repair? A: Some of the platforms we can/have repaired include, but are not limited to: OG Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo Wii, Wii U, Sega Dreamcast, Sega CD, Sega Saturn, Sony PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5, PC etc. If you are not sure, please reach out ot us, we are happy to help. Q: Do you repair Nintendo GameCube Discs? A: At this time, we do not repair GameCube discs. We may expand into that in the future. Q: Can you repair Music CDs, Movie DVDs or Blu-Ray Movie discs? A: Yes we can, but with one exception. DVD movie discs that have a label side and a data side can repaired. If the disc has two data sides (aka, both sides of the disc are shiny) we can not resurface it. If you are not sure, please reach out ot us, we are happy to help. Q: What are the limitations of the machine and service? A: While the machine has a well established track record, there are just some conditions that even the Eco Master can't do anything about. Some of the limitations include: Scratches on the label side of the disc. If you can hold the disc up to a light, and see clear through it and the label side, then you may have disc rot. This can not be repaired. Deep scratches that have already reached the data layer. There is no way to detect this ahead of time. We will resurface the disc, but that may not bring it back as the damage is already too extensive & has already destroyed the data. Even if the disc looks 100% perfect, it won't work unfortunately. Any cracks, whether at the core or anywhere on the disc, can not be repaired. Disc Rot / Discs with already corrupted data. Extremely deep scratches where your fingernail can even get caught in it may not be recoverable. Special Note on Blu-Ray Discs: Blu-Ray Discs have a very thin layer on the data side. By its very nature, it is pretty scratch resistant. Unfortunately, that means if this layer does get scratched enough, it may not be recoverable. If you can physically feel the scratch with your fingernail, chances are the disc will not receive much of an improvement. We do not recommend you send us those discs as the chances of repair are low. Q: Once I receive my discs, are there any additional steps I need to take? A: No, once your discs come back, you can simply put them back into your collection and play them as normal. Q: Do you play test the discs? A: No, this service is only to resurface your discs and give them a like new mirror finish. We do not test or validate each disc. Q: I am interested in getting my discs repaired by you, how does this work? A: To move forward with repair service: Select the amount of discs you want repaired from the drop down menu above & proceed to eBay Checkout as usual. Once we receive your order, within 24 hours, we will eBay message you the shipping address. In the meantime, begin getting your discs ready to be sent in. DO NOT send them in with their jewel cases / DVD cases. This will add too much weight. We recommend using a spindle case (often called a CD Cake Box), soft disc case or paper sleeves. Please do not just send loose discs in a box. Please make sure to package and pad well to avoid any damage in transit to us. You are responsible for postage costs to us. If you need to make special arrangements, please contact us first before placing your order. Once shipped to us, please eBay message us with your tracking number so we can update the order. Once your discs arrive, they will be repaired in the order they were received. The tun around time depends on the amount of work you sent us plus how many orders came in ahead of you.
