Description: A rare 20” X 24” painting on stretched canvas by the listed Hungarian artist A. Kowalski (1926 - ?) of winter skaters. Kowalski usually painted scenes of his homeland Hungary done in a primitive style but this is of an American town winter scene. I purchased this in 2002 this along with others directly from his distributor in New Jersey who had a small art shop. I was told Kowalski did not really like to paint American Folk art style painting but did a few anyway to see how they would sell. Painting in very good condition. Will include a copy of the artist’s bio. Unframed but will fit any standard 20” X 24” frame. Shipping will be $29.99 by USPS with tracking and once taken to post office for shipping it comes out less to your location I will refund the difference.
