Description: Press Photo Central Portion Of Fort Lauderdale High School Was Built In 1915 This is an original press photo. Out Of Service The central portion of the old Fort Lauderdale high school was built in 1915, and remained in service until the present school year. For nearly 20 years it was Broward County's only high school. The school was between SE Second St. and E. Broward Blvd., and SE Third and SE Fifth Aves. When it was first built, parents objected to having the school built so "far out in the country." Photo measures 10 x 3.75 inches. Photo is dated --none. Part Number: lrx42013 Please look at the images below carefully to determine the condition of this vintage photograph, as it may not be in perfect condition. It may contain wrinkles, cracks, and possibly even tears due to its age and how it was handled before it got to us. A scanner may see a photograph differently than human eyes will, so it is possible that the actual photograph may be slightly darker or lighter in person.
