The Preisner Silver Company, primarily a sterling silver hollowware manufacturer, was founded in Wallingford, Connecticut in 1935 by brothers Ben, John, and Frank. The brothers had moved to Wallingford from Louisiana in 1915 to work as apprentices for Wallace Silver. The Preisner Silver Company's designs have been featured in exhibitions, auctions, and museum collections. The set is in very good vintage condition, with no dents and some scratches on the widest middle of the teapot. Interiors are clean. The footed coffee pot measures 10 1/2” high and is 9 1/2” wide from spout to handle. Its matching 9 1/2” high teapot is 9 1/2” from spout to handle.
