Description: This auction is for a rebuilt WALBRO WA-19A CARBURETOR for all variants of POULAN S25 / 25 / 1800 / 2000 / 2300 / MICRO 25 model chainsaws. This would include Craftsman and Poulan Pro models. The carburetor was removed from a salvage saw and completely dis-assembled, cleaned, inspected and re-assembled with new fuel pump and metering Walbro OEM diaphragms along with metering needle and gaskets. It was very clean internally. Most of the S25 designs came with this carb model while the 1800~2300 designs came with the WT-20 or similar ... completely interchangeable. As "rebuildable cores", these models typically cost me approximately $20 each ... so you can see after a kit and rebuild, there is NOT a significant markup when selling. This is the "big bore" model and will provide maximum top end performance for your saw. It is completely interchangeable with the Walbro WT-20, WT-3, WT-83, WT-309 or Tillotson HU-10A models. The original Walbro / Poulan factory settings for both the high and low fuel enrichment jets are 1 turn open. From experience ... and assuming your saw is in good mechanical order ... I find the high speed jet typically does NOT require significant adjustment from the factory setting. The low speed jet may require tweeks of 1/8~1/4 turn ... typically further enrichment (open). Just simple manufacturing tolerances within the carburetor may result in some enrichment adjustments. These are not defects or faults. This model is NOT available from either Poulan or Walbro as it is obsolete and no longer in production. I will include a mounting gasket with this carburetor making the installation an easy task. When you replace your carburetor, take the opportunity to inspect and replace all other fuel system components. The carburetor is only as good as the support equipment ... check the fuel lines, fuel filter, air filter, reed valve, mounting gasket or even for a worn out engine with low compression. DO NOT ASSUME a replacement carburetor will fix one of these listed problems as it will NOT. This carburetor has been professionally rebuilt and it will solve a degraded carburetor issue.
