Description: Porter Cable Tiger Saw Reciprocating Saw with Case - Corded SOILED, SCRATCHES and signs of significant use, but it runs smooth. This early model Tiger Saw has some issues of note. Please read the following. 1. It is missing the small screw and bracket that holds the saw blade to the reciprocating shaft (see third and fourth Photo above). It is unclear if the threads of the shaft are still capable of holding the small screw, but it could be that it is the bracket that the screw is designed to thread into. The hole in the shaft looks smooth and round, I don't notice a thread inside the shaft's drilled hole. 2. It's unclear which exact model this is because the label has been worn out in the area where the model number was marked. It indicates that it is a TYPE 1. I've seen others that are type 2 and type 3. 3. The power cord usually has a rubber part that helps it from fraying where it connects to the saw body. Currently it doesn't have the rubber piece attached and the cord is showing the individual wires where it enters the saw (see photo #5). There are 3 of the rubber parts loose in the case (see the first photo in the top slot of the case), but they have not been verified to fit this saw, but they look to be correct.
