This camera originally sold at a list price of $6,000. It is model MPTZ-7 (Mechanical Pan Tilt Zoom). The Polycom Eagle Eye HD 1080 Camera is able to pan 280 degrees, has a 70 degree viewing angle and a 12x optical zoom. This is a completely tested, working camera which includes technical support and a 90 day warranty. This camera is complete with the power supply and 3 meter 1080 camera cable. This EagleEye 1080 camera is not in original packaging. It may or may not have been used in demonstrations or on exhibit at trade shows. It is not under Polycom warranty but we do provide a warranty for 90 days to repair or replace the camera if it fails. This MPTZ-7 work just like the silver EagleEye 1080 camera, it is just black in color for those who require a darker color for their video conferencing environment. Polycom describes this as having Mechanical Pan-Tilt-Zoom capability. This camera can Pan, Tilt and Zoom with the remote control. Polycom High Definition camera is compatible with the HDX 7000, HDX 8000, and HDX 9000 video conferencing systems. The Polycom EagleEye 1080 requires and includes a power supply which some do not like in their installation. The MPTZ-6, 8, and 9 models do not require a power supply because the system powers the unit directly. However the MPTZ-6 is only 720p which is why Polycom made the MPTZ-7; it is 1080p.
