Those who brought their Pokemon Diamond and/or Pearl games to GameStop during the event period could download an exclusive Deoxys, which was the first and only time this Mythical was available natively in Generation 4 (with the exception of the Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs event, which you can also no longer do anymore), thus making this a very sought after Pokemon. This event Pokemon was only available via this GameStop distribution, and it was only downloadable between the previously mentioned start date of June 20th to June 22nd, 2008, though it was distributed again a few days later from June 27th to June 29th. Unfortunately, once the event dates passed, the event Pokemon could no longer be downloaded or accessed nor was ever distributed online or in-person again. The GameStop Deoxys is from an authentic Mystery Gift Wonder Card event and is 100% legitimate and legal and is thus compatible with Pokemon Bank and Home regardless of what form it is. Detailed Information:In this service, there are one of two ways I can send you the event Pokemon. The first method is, of course, directly distributing the GameStop Deoxys to the game(s) you send in via Mystery Gift. If sending in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and/or Platinum, the Mystery Gift menu must be unlocked. If you have not reached Jubilife City and have not unlocked Mystery Gift, you will be unable to participate in this distribution service. For those who have reached Jubilife City (which you likely have since you go there even before the first gym badge) and do not have Mystery Gift unlocked, you can unlock it like so: On the 3rd Floor of the Jubilife TV Station, you will find this couple. Talk to the guy, and when he asks you to input a greeting, put “EVERYONE HAPPY” as the first two words, followed by “WI-FI CONNECTION” as the next two. If you did everything correctly, you should now have the Mystery Gift option in the main menu. If sending in Pokemon HeartGold and/or SoulSilver, the Mystery Gift menu option will automatically unlock as soon as you fight your rival for the first time. Assuming you have Mystery Gift unlocked on either Generation 4 game and wish to receive them via the first method, please be aware that if there isn’t enough space in your Wonder Card inventory that I will have to delete one to make space for the Deoxys’s Wonder Card, and more importantly, so that I can actually distribute the event Pokemon to your game(s). All you need to do after they have been distributed is to visit any PokeMart and talk to the man in green who stands in front of the counter. You will then be given your new event Deoxys! The second method I can do for this service is for me to distribute the Mystery Gift to my own copy of a Generation 4 Pokemon game, transfer the event Pokemon to it, and then trade said event Pokemon over to the game you sent over to me. Now, you may likely be asking “why would I ever consider this method over the other?” Well, there’s actually a handful of reasons as to why you might want this. For one, if you’re full on Wonder Cards and don’t want to delete any for the event Deoxys, then I can trade you over one instead of having to replace any Wonder Cards. Another reason would be if you have already had any of these three event Pokemon sent to your game in the past and no longer have access to it; Mystery Gifts can only be redeemed once, so if you want to get said Mystery Gift Pokemon again, you’ll need to trade it over. Another reason is if you want multiple of the same event Pokemon on one cartridge for any reason (see bonuses section for more information). Please be aware this method would require you capturing Pokemon for use as trade fodder. Both methods have their own reasons for being done, but I assume it’s safe to bet most people would rather go with method one for obvious reasons. There may be a few people wondering how exactly this service is done for Pokemon Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver via method one, as for those who are unaware, this Mystery Gift was only distributed to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, as this distribution event took place before Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver were released. I have actually managed to successfully enable the flags on the distribution software that let the Wonder Card be distributed to Pokemon Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver, so all Generation 4 games will be able to receive it natively through Mystery Gift. For the record, this has no bearing on the authenticity of the event Pokemon, as even if it is redeemed in a game it wasn’t originally intended to be in, its information attached will always remain the same and it will always be deemed legitimate and able to be transferred to Pokemon Bank and Home. With that said, if you are not a fan of this, we can always do method two instead. To change Deoxys into one of its other forms in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, travel to Veilstone City, where there are meteorites on the bottom right side of the city. Depending on which meteorite you interact with while Deoxys is in your party, it’ll change Deoxys into a specific form. The top meteorite is for Speed form, the middle meteorite is for Normal form, the bottom left meteorite is for Attack form, and the bottom right meteorite is for Defense form. To change Deoxys into one of its other forms in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, travel to Route 3, where there are meteorites on the bottom left side of the route. Depending on which meteorite you interact with while Deoxys is in your party, it’ll change Deoxys into a specific form. The top left meteorite is for Normal form, the top right meteorite is for Normal form, the bottom left meteorite is for Defense form, and the bottom right meteorite is for Speed form. Please be aware that if you do not meet the requirements mentioned above to receive the event Pokemon but send in your cartridge(s) believing you do meet them, I will unfortunately refund you and send your cartridge(s) back, though I cannot refund shipping. Please try to avoid this outcome at all costs; I assure you it’s not fun for either party. Please do not bank on the small chance of this happening. “Is this service done via cheating (GameShark, Action Replay, etc)?”Typically, none of my services involve cheating in any way and are all done to be as authentically as possible. Any that may be considered cheating or not legitimate are explicitly stated as such within their respective descriptions. Feel free to ask about the specific ones if you so wish. “Do you offer your services internationally? Can I mail my game in despite being outside of the US?”Yes, all of my services are currently set up for national shipping. Just to say, please be aware of the high costs that come from partaking from outside of the US since you are paying for both shipping to and from. If purchasing multiple services from me and shipping does not automatically combine, which it seems to not do if buying overseas, please let me know so I can refund you the $25 back. “Do these services work on non-English cartridges?”Yes, a vast majority of my services will work on non-english cartridges. Naturally some of them require a bit of a different process, such as if you want the Oak’s Letter distribution service performed on a Japanese copy of Platinum, I would instead distribute the authentic Japanese Wonder Card instead of the English one since it wouldn’t work properly, but the end result would still be the same ans result in you receiving an authentic Oak’s Letter. “Do I have to send in my system along with the game?”In regards to cartridges being played on GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS, no - those cartridges’ save files are stored within the cartridges themselves, rather than something like the Nintendo Switch save files, which are stored on the system itself regardless of if playing a game physically or digitally. For non-cartridge/digital games however, most of which in this case refer to the 3DS (eShop, Virtual Console), then yes, you would need to send in your entire system. “Can you transfer this Pokemon up to a different generation and trade/transfer it from there?”All events shown are technically compatible with all future generations unless they’re a Ticket/Item distribution service like the Eon Ticket or are specifically mentioned to not transfer up (to Bank and Home), so if you want a Generation 3 WishMaker Jirachi in Pokemon Black 2 for example, let me know and we can discuss this. I’m aware that many will want me to transfer these up into Bank and Home for trading purposes, and yes, I can go ahead and do that too if you so wish. With that said, please be aware it may take a bit of time to transfer everything upwards, and I admittedly do not particularly enjoy this process for anything prior to Gen 6. “Do you plan to offer services for other Pokemon games (LGPE, SWSH, BDSP, PLA, SV, Home, etc)?”I definitely have plans for services for other Pokemon titles in the future, though I don’t have much more concrete information to give at present time. Making these services is a lot more work on my end than it may seem, since I have to write up the description (which as I’m sure you can tell, I always make as thorough and detailed as possible), make the thumbnail, take the best pictures possible, update previous descriptions to include the new listing as a service I offer, update the Q&A if required, and so on. Regardless, this does tie into the special requests and custom orders section too - if you’d like me to perform a service on any of these games, feel free to ask and I’ll see what I can do here as well. “Under what circumstances will you cancel or refund an order?”Upon purchasing one of my services, I will send you a message on the matter. If I notice that you have not yet replied after a few days, I will send a follow up message. Do I really have to wait that long to receive my game back?”Don’t worry - the shipping times and estimated delivery dates shown are not correct whatsoever. The estimated shipping and delivery times only show as such a long time purely so I can give the customer as long of a time period as I possibly can to mail their game out. As mentioned in the previous question’s response, eBay expects me to purchase and prepare a shipping label after a certain period of time, so I have the maximum shipping time set to give as much time as possible for the customer to get their package ready and the like. Keep in mind that I naturally only want to purchase a shipping label when I’m ready to actually ship, so purchasing one and then having it expire is definitely not something I’d like to have happen. “How do I know this service is legit? How do I know you will mail my game back?”Easily my most commonly asked question, and one I naturally fully understand. Sending your games or even your entire 3DS/2DS to someone you don’t know can be very intimidating and concerning, so I hope the reasons I give share can be understood and go beyond “that’s morally wrong!” To start, please keep in mind that in order for me to actually receive your game/system, I have to send you my address, so if I ever were to not send your game back, you now have my address, proof of a valid purchase, a listing linked to said purchase, and an account you can report to eBay. I also give out my full name when giving my address if anyone needs it for their package, so you would have even more information on me as an individual you could report if need be. I hope that these reasons give you a good idea of why such wouldn't be feasible on my end, and ultimately an incredibly poor idea.
