Description: For sale is an original classic Pioneer PDR-05 cd recorder-player (photos 1-to-5) The specimen presented here was part of my vast collection of digital recorders that's almost unused just sitting inactive on display or storage for most of their service life. A fully restored in extremely short supply, the Sony cdr-w33 professional cd-recorder (photos 6-to-9, $699) It is my utmost conviction, stand alone cd recorders like the Sony cdr-w33 hands-down are incomparable in sound quality, warmth and sonic integrity to any existing computer software-based digital transfer of your most beloved and treasured analog tapes or vinyls due to their well-designed propriety AD converters and pre-amp built-in only these tactile machines can deliver. Like all pro-cd recorders the Sony cdr-w33 use both standard and "audio-only" blank cds. Prior to posting, this unit has been stored with very little to no use almost ignored for sometime, until recently received a complete attention included but not limited to: new drive-belt installed, deoxit and lubed all important moving parts, controls and switches, detailed clean every crevice every line with some retouching or repainting involved in the refurbishing process to arrive in this rejuvenated of state of functional condition. 2. A completely refurbished, very sought after and rarely seen Yamaha cdr-1300 hard-drive cd recorder with an upgraded enormous capacity of 320gb to store all your uncompressed music library. (photos 10-to-13, $999) The machine only displays its maximum hours of 120 accordingly based on hard-drive larger than the default 80gb installed. To my understanding, the unit does not indicate the total hours for much higher hard-drive of over 300-gigs but it’s there! So technically, hundreds of hours is at your disposal but you have to go beyond the 120-hour limit of recording to find out for sure. Just to paraphrase, the amazing thing about hands-on cd recorders is that, sonically, they produce a far superior, more natural, warmer non-fatiguing sound than that of their ones & zeros counterpart, as per courtesy of better design propriety pre-amp topology section and advanced high-quality digital-to-analog converter or vice-versa. The hard-drive already contains albums of easy listening genre for you to enjoy or erase at your discretion with plenty more space for your entire collection. The remote and manual have been misplaced during a move and not included albeit the navigation is rather intuitive and all relevant controls are on the panel. Marantz "new old-stock" PMD-570 compact flash card digital recorder (photos 14-to-17, $700). Prior to posting, bench tested and pass with flying colors ready to put into service in many recording applications in any professional environment. Recorded files can be transferred quickly and easily into a computer either by removing the card from the PMD570 and connecting it to a suitable card reader, or by accessing the machine directly via its own USB port. A rack-mounting Compact Flash card recorder which can be configured for mono or stereo operation, with linear PCM or data-reduced MP2 or MP3 file formats, and a range of sample and bit rates. Ultimate quality is limited by its 16-bit, 48kHz maximum resolution, but this is entirely adequate for its intended purpose. Totally silent in use, fast and easy to operate, this is an ideal scratch-pad recorder for the musician who wants to be able to capture ideas without having to boot up the entire computer studio." Either one will deliver superb result on your digital transferring project to CDs. Hardly used as back-up unit only and part of a collection.
