Description: This listing is for a Civil War era reproduction, produced in 2023, Pietta 1861 Navy 'Sheriff' Model barrel. Listing includes a single blued steel (bluish black in color) .36 cal. 5.5" round barrel (seven groove rifling) with short brass front sight as shown (Ramrod NOT included). Last two pictures show the short barrel with brass loading ramrod(sold separately). Can also use a loading stand if preferred. Part #3 and #15 in Picture 2. This part has been removed from a new revolver. The barrel is in great shape but some minor wear, marks, scratches and discoloration is possible. Barrel interior surface is bright and smooth but can show minor scrapes, chatter marks made by the factory. Approximate dimensions: overall max length: 5.42"; width of rear body: 0.71". Will work with Pietta's .36 cal. 1851 Navy and Pietta's 1861/1862 Navy series revolvers. Not compatible with original Colts or other brand replicas. As the revolvers are hand fitted and finished in the 'old world' method, each is slightly unique and some parts will require additional fitting/finishing for perfection on your revolver(holding on to your old parts to use as a guide/template is recommended).
