Photo print of cover rough to FAMOUS MONSTERS #24 - Forrest Ackerman collection

Description: FROM THE FORREST ACKERMAN COLLECTION. One of a kind glossy color photo print (not original art) of the cover rough to FAMOUS MONSTERS #24 (1963). The rough may have been by Basil Gogos even though the face of the wolfman in this rough looks nothing like Henry Hull, but the monster's hair and ear are very similar to the published version, even though the face is entirely different. The rough even has the August 1963 cover date on it but I have not seen it in any of the Basil Gogos art books. 8" x 10 1/4" in excellent condition. This is the only one I have and I've never seen any kind of similar cover roughs from other issues. Buyer pays for priority mail, or media mail (mailed in a box). Outside the US is use the Ebay Global Shipping Program.
