Description: Nice photo ca1915. The 1900 census of Millersburg in Dauphin County, PA lists George Feidt (born Nov 1867), Lilly (born Jun 1867) and Mary (born Jan 1895). George is a "Laborer R.R." The family moved and shows up in the 1910 census of Upper Paxton Township. Here it says George is a "Farmer." A marriage record states Mary Esther Feidt, age 20, married Melvin Walborn Sheetz on 25 Dec 1916 in Killinges, Dauphin County. A California death record states Mary Esther Sheetz was born 05 Jan 1896 and died 08 Jun 1995 in Los Angeles. It also says her mother's maiden name was Lebo. She is buried at Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall, CA. My guess is this is the Norman Zerbe mentioned in the photo. The 1900 census of Upper Paxton Township lists Harvy C. Zerbe (born Aug 1870), Katie A. (born Nov 1868) and Normon E. (born Feb 1897). Harvy's occupation is "R.R. Repair." Norman died in 1973 and is buried at St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Urban, Northumberland County. His wife was Hilda I. Schlegel (1911-2003). Mary and Norman may have been cousins or may have been friends as their father's both worked for the railroad.
