Description: This item is a Phillipson Premium 8 1/2", 5wt, 3/2 Bamboo Fly Rod. This rod ships with original burgundy aluminum tube and sock (no id sticker on tube a few scuffs). The rod has a very clean down-locking reel seat, clean black wraps with gold tips, ferrules/guides/tip top and it has a beautiful clean finish. The elliptical hammer cork grip does show some light wear (see photos) there are a few slivers of cork missing (see photos). It has the classic varnish drip on the top of the cork. Overall this rod is excellent sans the minor imperfections of the cork grip. All sections are straight and the correct length. Many new bamboo going up this week, so please give a follow.
