Phalaenopsis Pulchra

Description: Phalaenopsis Pulchra is a small to medium sized species orchid native to the Philippines. They bloom in spring, with branching spikes of purple/magenta flowers. The lip has purple hairs on it, and the flowers are waxy, fragrant, long lasting and beautiful. Overall an easy to grow species that tends to produce numerous keikis as well as flowers. When the plant is fully mature it can have a copious amount of flowers and be quite the display. These are healthy, mature, blooming size plants. The first photo shows an EXAMPLE of the bloom on this hybrid. The rest of the photos display the TYPICAL plants that you will receive.These plants are very healthy, mature, blooming sized plants, with strong root systems. They're currently potted in 2.5" pots with New Zealand sphagnum moss.Culture: Grow in intermediate to warm temperatures. Pot in medium sized bark or moss and keep in partial shade. Water about once a week.
