Description: This is a great vintage arts & crafts pottery piece made by the Peters & Reed Pottery in their Moss Aztec line The jardiniere has an embossed Pinecone pattern The exterior is unglazed and washed with a dark green/gray wash and the interior is glazed The Peters & Reed Pottery became Zane Ware around 1920 This piece dates to 1915 The jardiniere measures 4 1/8” in height and 7 1/2” in diameter The piece is unmarked as all of these piece were prior to the transition to Zane Ware Shows appropriate wear for its age... glaze loss and flea bites.
