Once we have a working proof your custom sign will be cut out using a homemade CNC plasma table that precisely cuts out your design using a 50,000-degree plasma torch. Once your design cools I start the finishing process to remove any unwanted slag and smooth out any sharp edges leaving you with a raw steel sign perfect for your antique finish, paint or natural rust.ATTENTION: Plasma can only cut in negative space e.g. black and white so there are some limitations to the amount of detail that can be crammed into a given space. I like to think about it as a silhouette, you get the message but some of the finer points are left out.
