This cactus is most often used as a rootstock for cactus seedlings that are difficult to grow or grow slowly on their own roots. It can increase the growth factor of the seedlings grafted to it by 10x or more, although super slow-growing seedlings like Aztekium will be slower. Disregard almost all rules of normal cactus growing with this plant and grow it as you would a tropical houseplant/tomato plant. Will be shipped bare root (without pot or soil).
