These rules are made in the USA by Products Engineering Company (PEC Tools), a premier US tool manufacturer. They are made from the finest steel available and are hardened and tempered. They have a satin chrome finish (reduces glare and prevents rust) and are precision photo etched and then black filled for easy readability. The metric graduations show .5mm and mm on both sides. Rules are .72" wide and .042” thick. Both long edges are ground flat and straight.
