Description: This is a vey old basket from a private collection in Arizona. It is a Papago Tohono O'Odham basket of yucca and beargrass. The basket or tray is split weave in 3 variations of natural toned fiber...from light to medium (almost golden) and brown. It is tightly woven and very sturdy. I believe it was created for use not tourist. Approximate measurements: 7.5" x 1".
