Panasonic AG-500R Portable Monitor

Description: Hi Everyone: Today I am listing our Panasonic TV monitor - VHS player combo. This unit was manufactured in Aug. of 1987 and is in perfect working order. All the buttons and knobs work as they should. Tracking adjustment is in the middle like it should be. Plays tapes and ejects them just like it was made to. I purchased this unit back in the late 1990's at a school auction and used it for a few years in my office to watch movies while I worked. It has sat on a shelf for probably the past 15 years and now it's time for it to find a new owner. To make sure it worked my wife and I watches a few movies with out any issues. As can be expected the case has some discoloration on it and there are a few tiny scratches on the screen cover but they do not show when playing a movie. We have 2 cats and a dog and the white "scratch" in the top middle of the screen is one of their hairs, sorry!. We only dusted off the case and cleaned the screen. I guess that if some one took some time the case would come up a bit better but we felt that it was better to leave the patena on the case. The door that was in front of the controls is missing and seeing other listings it appears that this is typical for this unit. Every pic we see the door is missing! The 2 pic's with a movie playing are the Sixth Sense. It's hard to take pic's of the screen so I put them up only as indicator that the unit is working. Picture quality is very good. As a bonus we are including 4 movies, Mission Impossible, Groundhoog Day, My Cousin Vinny, and The Sixth Sense. We checked and all 4 movies play great. This is a popular item as we looked and there are always a few on Ebay. Own this great piece retro TV / VCR history. We are using standard UPS shipping as you can see in our listing.
