Subject: In the first painting we have a lovely depiction of a house by the hill with people doing laundry at the water gatherer. In the second, a landscape with a man resting on the side of a road. Condition: Average to good. Original canvas was never re-lined. Heavy craquelure on surface. Small area where varnish got opaque over the trees in background. Minor chips on frame with minor repairs.
