Description: These vintage lamps are heavy; a magnet does not stick to them, indicating they may be brass, bronze or copper. They look more copper to me and feature a Knight with plumed helmet and two dragons poised above him. They give me a French vibe (the colors, the plume, the dragons) but are not marked so. Instead, on the bobeche they are marked either 969 or 696 and on the bottom of the base are marked 843. Both have a tiny pull chain by the dragon's head. One works well, the other may be stuck- I didn't pull too hard. The cords are ugly and should be replaced although they're perfectly functional. The cardboard candle tubes are in good to fair condition. Each lamp measures 16.5" tall with a 6 1/4" x 3 5/8" base. Each lamp weighs 6 pounds 14 ounces. All patina is original, I have not cleaned them; please do so to your standards. For safety, lightbulbs not included. Shipping via UPS ground or USPS ground at 19 pounds 6 ounces.
