PAIR 1930s, rare labeled Norah WELLINGS, Jolly Toddler velveteen cloth dolls

Description: Here are a simply adorable PAIR of, 11 1/2" tall, velveteen and stuffed cloth, fully labeled: Made in England/by Norah Wellings on cloth sewn-on wrist tags "Jolly Toddler" (similar to the "Dollymine") series child dolls, circa 1930. These cute, chubby brother and sister dolls have beautiful, molded and painted, swivel heads with big brown and blue, painted eyes with highlights, molded (raised) eyebrows and long eyelashes, chubby cheeks with dimples, rosy blush and sweetly closed lips. Girl has her original, hand sewn, yarn wig in pigtails with center part and wears her original, blue plaid, flower-printed, cotton dress with organdy pockets, collar and scalloped hem and pearl buttons as well as her original, matching panties and blue felt shoes with ties. Brother has the same features with additional (double-sewn) felt ears and painted hair and wears his original printed cotton shirt with pearl buttons, green felt shorts with big pearl buttons front and back (missing one button) and green felt shoes with ties. Both have individually stitched fingers with separate thumbs and are in good condition with no damages or repairs, some overall darkening due to age, no holes very light fading on green shorts. Both could use a light cleaning and are exceedingly hard to find in pairs.
