In addition to this we find that this 2mm sound proofing by Skinz is very good at removing road noise in Land Rover Defenders, especially when applied to the load area and side panels. Unlike some other brands this sound deadening is black so gives a subtle professional finish especially if you are covering areas that are not entirely covered by carpet or roof lining. To remove the vibration from a panel you do not need to cover the entire panel so this pack goes a long way! As it is 2mm thick it can be applied under roof linings, carpets, door panels and other interior trim without causing issues with refitting.
