Pacific Connections Lacquered Royal Blue & White 6x3x2" Lidded Velvet Lined Box

Description: This San Francisco company was founded in 1994 and hit the ground running as Pacific Connections. Their lacquer technique follows an age-old traditional method and subsequently has been found to be highly sought after all over the world. Their catalog today is very streamlined and no longer features the hexagonal shaped box that the pictured tag is from (which is not included but will send a photo copy with purchase). The craftsmanship of these lacquered pieces rivals any found in the origin areas of this type of craft. This royal blue with white trim lidded box is beautifully lined with black velvet, adding to a seamless finish of posh elegance. The quality pieces this company creates are timelessly modern and always have a place in the stylized home or office. This has a cosmetic issue on one corner that is well photographed and can likely be repaired. The Pacific Connections tag that is pictured came from a different Pacific Connections box but had information worth sharing. As you can see, there is no website listed. Making this pre 1997. I believe this trim style came out in 1996 and was a part of the company streamlining their catalog.
