The back of the medal has a beautiful long-stemmed rose along with "pray for us". The medal is 7/8" tall and oval in shape; it was made in Italy and comes on a 24" Stainless Steel continuous chain, which means you can slip it on and off over your head easily without having to worry about a clasp. We can thank the 12th century hermits who lived on Mount Carmel in the holy land for this beautiful image of Our Lady.
