Description: I collected a lot of O.S. .61 long stroke side exhaust engines and parts over the years. Then I take the best parts and rebuild them to the highest standards for my own personal use. All the engines have brand new bearings and this one is no exception. I checked the crankshaft to make sure it is perfectly straight. I made sure the cylinder liner and piston are a perfect match. This engine like all my other SF's have crazy amount of compression. I then match a carburetor to the engine and give it a test run. Then I oil it with after run oil and save for later install into a pattern plane. Unfortunately I am getting old and the days for me to continue flying pattern planes are pretty much gone. So I have to start selling off my prized engines. This one is one of the most complete and stock long stroke .61 SF. Yes I have rebuilt some with SFN and FSR parts to make them short strokes. That I will sell later. I am listing 3 similar OS .61 engine so I have to identify the engine by the two letters stamped on the bottom of the crankcase. This one is stamped "AF". Please look closely at the pictures and you will see this is in excellent shape. I will pack the engine in a Medium Flat Rate Priority Box for shipping to the 50 States.
