Description: Original crew member wings pin, from a B-17 bomber gunner, who flew with the US Army Air Force out of England for bombing raids over France and Germany during 1943-1944. While this does appear to be silver and has tarnish, the back is NOT marked Sterling. Also does not have a manufacturer’s mark. It has 2 pin points for securing it to clothing. The wings do show tarnish and some handling wear, some corrosion on 1 of the back pins. Measures approximately 3”.
