Description: Original WW2 British Army Desert Tropical Pith Helmet 1942 Genuine period pith helmet as used by British forces who served in the North African and Mediterranean theatres during the Second World War. The helmet is in good original condition with with only some light soiling to the exterior for age/use, a small mark to the underside if the rim and the top dome has been blackened (see pictures). The liner sweatband features a British war department broad arrow stamp to the interior with a faint letter O which denotes the date 1942.
