The metal is unblemished and has the manufacturer's name (GEMSCO) molded in the corners (see close-up above). The rank insignia is VERY GOOD/NEAR MINT condition, ready to be placed onto a uniform and overseas cap. Here's an opportunity for the collector or re-enactor to give yourself a promotion to Major.
