Description: Apollo 11 Vintage NASA "Red Number" Color Photo, Image AS11-40-5948: Buzz Aldrin with Both Panels of Seismometer Experiment. An original chromogenic 8" x 10" print of Aldrin before setting up the laser reflector with the Lunar Module, U.S. flag, and surface cameras visible. On Kodak fiber-based paper bearing the "A Kodak Paper" watermark on the verso. We have two of these - this is only the listing for the second. The major differences between the two is that in this one, there is no wrinkling, but a couple of the corners aren't as sharp as in the first. In the dual picture, it is the photo on the bottom. The photo has been placed in a plastic sleeve with a cardboard backer, then into a 8.5" x "11" rigid print protector for shipping. Due to the age of the photo, there is a slight amount of bowing. Any glare/discoloration is a result of the camera and not an issue with the piece itself, unless otherwise stated. We have a large collection of pictures that will be listed over time; a family member worked as JSC for 33 years and accumulated quite a collection of memorabilia while there. A good number of the pictures, we know what they are based on research, however, a lot of them, we do not and that will be disclosed in the description if need be.
