Description: Original scarce PARADISE pear box/pear crate label. Gorgeous lithograph of a bird of paradise sitting on a branch with two ripe yellow Bartlett pears. From 1920s for Suisun Bartlett Pears grown and packed by Mrs. N. Berry in Suisun, California. Label was printed by Traung Label Company in San Francisco, California. This is one of the few pear labels with a woman as the sole grower/packer.I have many other different pear labels from Washington, Oregon and California that were in this collection started in the 1970s to sell - please contact me if you are looking for something from any of those states. Label is in very good condition BUT IT HAS A WATER STAIN ON THE BACK AND THE TIP OF THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER HAS A TEAR WHICH HAS BEEN REPAIRED WITH ACID FREE TAPE - See scan.
