ITEM DESCRIPTION DescriptionUp for your consideration is an original NASA photograph, from the 1970's or earlier. These photographs come from a large collection of near pristine photos, all well-protected, and housed in a safe for many years. In many instances, the collector has added notes or research for the photos (as shown, if available). These are 10" x 8" This photo is from the Gemini 12 capsule by James Lovell with a Hasselblad 70 mm camera. It bears the red numbers s66-62955. This photo was taken just after Buzz Aldrin's historic spacewalk where he attached a 100 ft. tether to the Agena Station, which was about 75 feet away when this picture was taken.This is one of a series of Gemini 12 photos that are rarely seen, and they come directly from a photo developer's collection. This is an original NASA-issued chromogenic photograph, printed on thick fibre-based paper, and watermarked “A Kodak Paper.” There is official NASA red-numbering on the front. This is the most valuable and desired version of this photo. ConditionOverall, the piece is in excellent condition, free of concerns. There are no creases, bends, fingerprints, or other concerns. All four corners are reasonably crisp, with nothing that distracts. There is a very indent to the extreme edge of the photo (see last photo). The colors are correct and unfaded.
