Bernstein held significant leadership roles in major magic organizations, serving as National President of the Society of American Magicians from 1939 to 1940 and of the International Brotherhood of Magicians from 1942 to 1946. Beyond his performances, he contributed to the magic community as a legal advisor and lecturer on abnormal psychology, and made appearances on radio and television.
