Description: This is an original cream colored Easy Reader from Reader Enterprises, Inc. This version was revised in recent years, and, in my opinion the new version is far inferior to this. Made from a heavy duty plastic material. This holder can hold a heavy textbook or any book---the shelf opens at bottom to hold the book and the elastic string can be pulled across to hold the pages open. Angle is adjustable by setting legs at one of several notches. Also has silver clipboard top/edge so this can also be used as a clipboard. Could also be used as a laptop or Ipad holder, especially for watching videos hands free. In addition to using mine for holding books to read hands-free, I use it to hold up heavy cookbooks while cooking. These are no longer available to purchase new.
