Description: This is an original painting by artist David Mattingly (me). You can see more of my work at www.davidmattingly.com. This is the second of 4 cover sketches I did for "Schimmelhorn's Gold" by Reginald Brentor. This is a piece of original art, one of a kind, and when it is sold there is no other. The sketch is in gouache paint, a finely ground tempera paint that I used for most of my sketches. The sketch measures 7 inches by 4,25 inches, the same size as the printed paperback book cover. It is on a piece of illustration board measuring 10 inches by 7.5 inches. It is matted but not framed.
