Description: Original ca. 1870 VARIETY SHOW Broadside Original ca. 1870 VARIETY SHOW Broadside [Variety Shows] Ca. 1870 Variety Show Broadside featuring "The Chileno Wonder," "The Great Colored Commedian" & "The Champion Pianist of his Age" Rare original broadside dating from ca. 1870, advertising a variety show with the talents of acrobat "Master Alejo Hudson, the Chileno Wonder," "Charles Love, The Great Colored Commedian [sic]," and "Master Jose Fernandez, the Champion Pianist of his age." Hudson went on to join the Luproil's Circus in 1879; Charles Love had appeared with the Original Georgia Minstrels in the 1860's. In delicate condition with folds and wear to the creases, mounting remnants, and irregularly trimmed edges, but with no tears and overall good. 12 x 8 inches (30.2 x 20.6 cm).
