Description: Up for sale is an original Nepalese Kukri “Longleaf” pattern fighting knife, dating from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. We bought it from the estate of an executive in an international nongovernmental organization. As she traveled and worked in countries, such as Nepal, she would buy items from locals, outside of the tourist trade. This knife had been passed down and used by a family for nearly a century. The 14 inch hand forged blade is nearly razor sharp even today! Still in its original, leather covered wooded sheath. (There is some “modern” stitching reinforcing the belt loop). It has the two small knives. One is in the same pattern as the bigger knife. It is also very sharp! (Most of these small knifes in modern sets are unsharpened). The second one is the most interesting one. It is a solid, all hand forged iron knife shaped tool. The blade “edges” are the same thickness as the blade. Instead, it is shaped and filed to a sharp point. Perhaps it’s an awl. The sides are marked with decorative designs; hash marks. The IMA Kukris like this one, but uncleaned and without a scabbard are about $149. Our price for this one is now only $96! EBay shows the median sales price as $157)! Packing and shipping is only a flat $12. (It’s not as if it’s very breakable)! CONUS sale and shipping only. Our return policy is simple. You have to love it when you first see it. If you don’t, you have the EBay 14-day return privilege. No fuss, no bother. Thank you for looking.
