Description: 19th century art nouveau bronze vase by J. Garnier. Two panel sides with beautiful detailed high relief nude mermaids, women swimming , flora and fauna. Each panel signed by J. Garnier (1853-1910) J. Garnier was a noted French sculptor who exhibited in the Paris salon in 1885-1905. This is a very fine period art nouveau vase. The vase has rub marks and a few paint sprinkles. There are (3) cracks on the bottom of the vase, (See Pictures). The item is heavy and solid. The brass cup and be removed from the to of the vase. Size is roughly: 15-1/2 inches tall 6-3/8 inches wide at the bottom, and roughly 8-1/2 inches at its widest part. Weight: 9.5 lbs.
