Description: Add Me to Your Favorite Sellers Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1956 Gibson J-185 in its original Sunburst finish which really shows off the impressive example of flame maple on the back of the body. It has a great playing neck with great frets. It's all original with the exception of the reissue Kluson style tuning keys which replaced the original set of Kluson tuners. It's also 100% complete with the exception of the lower strap button and the paper label from inside the body. A period correct Lifton hardshell case is included. This J-185 looks incredible, but does have a long crack in the treble side of the body running about 7 inches long. There is one very short crack in the top between the end of the fretboard and the rosette caused by the pickguard shrinkage. There are some nicks + dings, finish checking and other cosmetic wear.
