This map was published by Laurie & Whittle, London and is dated 1794. The image area measures 47.5 x 57.8 cm [18¾" x 22¾"], with generous margins on all sides. An ornate rococo cartouche frames the title: Seat of War in the Seven Provinces, Comprehending Holland, Zeeland, Utrecht, Gelders, Over-Yessel, Friesland, and Groningen; with the Land Of Drent; also Dutch Flanders and Dutch Brabant. Details include roads, rivers, political boundaries, and hundreds of place names. The coverage area extends north of Antwerp, along the coast of the present-day Netherlands, to the mouth of the Ems River. There is a distance scale in the lower left corner. Condition: This map is in excellent condition. The paper is clean and sound, with wide margins and no marks, rips, or tears. There is a vertical center fold, as issued.
